The 25 hour “marathon” fast of Yom Kippur is always greater than the sum of its parts. Highlights of Yom Kippur at Temple Israel include our annual Jack Stein Memorial Symposium during the afternoon break and the ‘packed house’ singing together at the concluding Neila service culminating with the final blast of the shofar by children and adults.
