The Jack Stein Memorial Symposium, a Yom Kippur tradition at Temple Israel, brings special guest speakers to the congregation to discuss timely issues during the break in services on Yom Kippur.
This year’s Jack Stein Memorial Symposium will be held on Monday, September 25 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Our guest speaker will be Rhoda Smolow, National President of Hadassah and Temple Israel member. The topic will be “With Pride, Passion and Purpose: A Conversation with Rhoda Smolow.” Rhoda will talk about the challenges and joys of leading a major Jewish organization.
