How to Participate Remotely for the HHD

High Holy Day services will be available on  YouTube and Facebook

For those who decide to participate remotely and not attend services in person, High Holy Day Prayer Books (Mahzorim) are available to borrow or to purchase.

Temple Israel of Great Neck is pleased to offer multiple ways for members to borrow High Holy Day Prayer Books (Mahzorim) in advance of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for those who will be attending services online.

As you may be aware, we use the Lev Shalem Mahzor (Rabbinic Assembly, 2010). Congregants may borrow books for free or, for those who want a brand new copy to keep, we have a limited number of new books for purchase for $36 each.

Both borrowed and purchased books can be picked up from the synagogue office as noted below.

From 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on the following days:

Monday, September 12 & 19
Tuesday, September 13 & 20
Wednesday, September 14 & 21

We kindly ask that loaned books are returned to the synagogue by October 31. Lost or damaged borrowed copies may be replaced for $25 each.
