How to Participate Remotely for the HHD

High Holy Day services will also be available on Zoom. Please contact the office (jkohn@tign.org or 516-482-7800) for the link.

For those who decide to participate remotely and not attend services in person, High Holy Day Prayer Books (Mahzorim) are available to borrow or to purchase.

Temple Israel of Great Neck is pleased to offer multiple ways for members to borrow High Holy Day Prayer Books (Mahzorim) in advance of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur for those who will be attending services online.

As you may be aware, we use the Lev Shalem Mahzor (Rabbinic Assembly, 2010). Congregants may borrow books for free or, for those who want a brand new copy to keep, we have a limited number of new books for purchase for $36 each.

Both borrowed and purchased books can be picked up from the synagogue at the same time as ticket distribution. Please click here for the schedule.

Members who are unable to leave their homes and live in the area may ask for home delivery or we can ship via USPS shipping at the rate of $5 per copy.

We kindly ask that loaned books are returned to the synagogue by October 10. Lost or damaged borrowed copies may be replaced for $25 each.
