Join the Waxman Youth House for fall fun and snacks in the Sukkah! Rain or shine! All teens in 7th-12th are invited! 7th graders 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. as usual, 8th-12th graders join 6:30 p. m. – 7:30 p.m.
In addition to sipping delicious cider in the sukkah and other fall treats, our 8th-12th graders will have the chance to meet our wonderful Shinshinit, Stav. (Stav runs an Israel program for our 7th graders every Tuesday.) Stav is one of a delegation of Shinshim sent by the Jewish Agency to Long Island. Shinshinim are Israeli high school graduates on a gap year before their national/army service volunteering with us, promoting Israel engagement and awareness in our community.
