Our hearts ache for the millions of Ukrainians impacted by Russia’s attack, including refugees in search of new homes with barely the clothes on their backs. Our tradition teaches us that we must respond in times of crisis in any way we can. As Mordecai said to Esther, “Who knows? Perhaps you attained royalty for precisely this moment in time.”
Following this imperative, we all need to step forward at this moment in time. We are collecting the following items at Temple Israel to provide relief for the people of Ukraine. There is a deadline of March 20 which will allow for the items to be shipped and distributed in a timely fashion.
