Sisterhood is helping two local food pantries (Samuel Field YM & YWHA, Commonpoint Queens and St. Aloysius Church, Great Neck) by providing requested items to help seniors, individuals and families who are struggling with food insecurity.
Your help is desperately needed and is greatly appreciated.
Most needed items:
canned corn
cereal
cranberry sauce
boxed milk
canned pumpkin
pasta (all varieties)
boxed stuffing
mac and cheese
spices (sage, thyme, cinnamon, rosemary)
No glass, opened or expired food can be accepted for safety reasons.
Please donate only what each pantry has specifically requested on the list above.
Collection bins are set up in the lobby at Temple Israel. Donations accepted through Wednesday, November 16th. The next food drive will be announced soon.
