The Jack Stein Memorial Symposium, a Yom Kippur tradition at Temple Israel, brings special guest speakers to the congregation to discuss timely issues during the break in services on Yom Kippur.
This year’s Jack Stein Memorial Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 5 at 3:00 PM in the Sanctuary (also on YouTube Live). The topic: “Judaism – the Next Generation: A Conversation with Three Young Adults from Our Congregation about Jewish Identity, Israel and Our Future” Featuring Monica Emrani Horowitz, Jonah Klempner and Zachary Leventhal in discussion with Rabbi Howard Stecker.
