Rabbi Howard Stecker and Rabbi Daniel Schweber welcome the leadership of Hazzan Brian Shamash who will share the pulpit with his childhood teacher Hazzan Farid Dardashti. Hazzan Dardashti holds the distinction of being the first Iranian-born international concert artist and hazzan in the western world. He comes from a long line of classical Iranian vocal artists. His father, known as the “Nightingale of Iran,” was internationally acclaimed.
