Professor Yossi Rosenwaks serves as the fourth President of Afeka Academic College of Engineering in Tel Aviv. An internationally recognized nanotechnology researcher and scholar, his expertise lies in the development of nanoscale molecular sensors based on transistor technology—an area at the cutting edge of modern science and engineering. Professor Rosenwaks exemplifies the synergy of scholarly excellence and technological entrepreneurship. He has authored over 200 articles published in leading peer-reviewed journals, and holds over 10 patents, several of which have led to the establishment of successful start-up ventures. He has been invited to speak at approximately 80 international conferences and has chaired numerous key symposia. Throughout his distinguished academic career, Professor Rosenwaks has supervised over 70 graduate students. Nine of his former doctoral and master’s students are now faculty members at prominent universities in Israel and abroad.
