Donate Supplies

The whole congregation can help us by donating supplies to support the Run. We will gratefully accept your generous donations starting Thursday, October 20-Monday, November 7.  Please drop off items in the bins located in the main synagogue lobby.

Help us by donating these items:

Toiletry items: soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lip balm, and moisturizer, razors and shaving cream. All new, unopened travel sizes. Any collections from hotel visits are perfect! Please drop off toiletries by 11AM on Sunday 11/6

List in order of need, updated 11/3

  1. Backpacks
  2. Underpants. Jockey style. Sizes 32 through 42.
  3. Socks (only warm winter socks are still needed).
  4. Durable pants. Again, large sizes are preferred, but sort into waist sizes between 32 and 40 and above, with inseam size marked. Blue jeans are preferred over khakis.
  5. Sweaters, sweatshirts and long-sleeve shirts. Large and extra large. Dark colors preferred. Hooded sweatshirts are especially useful.
  6. Warm coats. Large and extra-large sizes, as even small men and women like to layer. Dark colors are preferred.
  7. Warm winter hats and gloves. Large men’s sizes preferred.
  8. Shoes. Sizes 9 through 12 and above. Lightly worn sneakers or athletic shoes (no spikes), soft-soled shoes and work boots are preferred. No sandals, flipflops, etc.
  9. Long underwear. Large sizes. Any color.

Thanks to your generosity, we have enough gym socks, tooth paste, toothbrushes and floss, and feminine hygiene items.

Do not donate sandals, lightweight coats, items in light colors that will easily stain, business casual attire, etc.

Interested in a large donation? Please email lamer@tign.org so we can discuss how you can have the most significant impact.

We need help from volunteers of all ages! Children in 3rd-6th grade, teens in 7th-8th to help us prepare, teens in 8th grade and up to participate in the Run, and parent volunteers. Click here to learn about those volunteer roles
