Join us each and every Shabbat and Jewish holiday for special experiences designed just for children and families. We look forward to seeing you!
Join us every Shabbat and Jewish holiday for a fun service led by Morah Ronnie Katz!
Tot Shabbat is designed especially for children through age 4 and their parents. The experience includes lots of singing, dancing, storytelling, marching with the Torah and, of course, a special kiddush snack. This is a perfect introduction to Temple Israel for parents and children and a great way for young families to meet and make new friends.
Tot Shabbat meets every Shabbat and Jewish holiday, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm in the Blue Room.
The Chapel (next to the main sanctuary) is the place to be every Shabbat for kids in grades K-4! This special service is full of games, skits, and stories. Junior Congregation meets every Shabbat and Jewish holiday in the Chapel from 10:30 am until noon, followed by our own kiddush downstairs in the Pine Room.
Temple Israel’s Machon Family Service is offered at different points in the year for all fifth through seventh grade students and their parents. This service, led by Rabbi Adelson, serves as a bridge between the Junior Congregation and the Main Sanctuary service. Students and their families participate in a modified service which includes prayers, Torah reading, lively discussion, and, of course, kiddush.
The Machon Family Service meets at different points in the year, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm in the Multipurpose Room.
