Purchasing Associate, Port Washington

Description: Responsible for purchasing of finished goods for resale. Prepares, reviews and verifies purchase requisitions and purchase orders while maintaining active and accurate inventory list to provide to clients. Interacts with vendors at tradeshows and is responsible for the spiffs (money) that vendors get at the tradeshows. 12. Develops pricing for products and spiff program for van sales. 13. Assists sales team with reports by territory, customer or by product so that they can see their stats. 14. Runs reports by vendor or customer after tradeshow to show success and so that sales team is aware of their clients that went to the trade show. 15. Creates reports including purchasing, inventory, spiffs as requested by staff. 16. Contributes to meeting the goals and objectives of the company through the design, maintenance, updating, and management of the organization’s websites. 17. Trains new employees on excel and any other systems as deemed appropriate based on level of knowledge. 18.
